*𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯*

"Thank you for your purchase, have a nice day!" The old man exclaimed joyfully. The walking customer smiled back at the old man before staring back ahead. The old man looked away from the customer and snicked as he began to count the amount of money that was given to him. 

"What a sucker, thought that a love potion actually exits, what a joke!" The old man laughed as he pulled open the trunk and put inside the money before locking it again and going back to his booth to scout out another potential victim. 

"It has to be here somewhere..." Hearing the distressed sound of a male the old man's ears pirked up as he put on his best business smile. Turning around he saw a group of three males, one short, one of okay height, and one tall, walking aimlessly down the market street. 

"Travelers! May I know what you're looking for? I might just--no--I will have it!" The old man announced to them. The three male's gloomy expressions soon turned hopeful as they quickly walked over to the old salesman. 

"Do you know of anything that can track down someone, no matter where they're are?" The boy with pink hair asked him, dark circles under his eyes. Glancing over at the other two the old salesman smiled even wider. "Why, of course, I do! I'm the only one in these whole lands to have such a thing! Though, just to make sure that you're not pulling my leg like everyone else here, tell me the name of the object that you seek?" The old salesman quietly told them. 

While the other two were hesitant, the taller male instantly jumped in at the opportunity. "This object that we seek is named... Govinda." Ban whispered to him, glancing around to make sure that no one else heard. 

The old salesman instantly paled slightly before waving his hand around fast to cover it up. "I do! I do have Govinda!" The old salesman confirmed as he turned his back away from them and went to look at all the weird stuff that he found. 

"Now, let's see... where did I put you, my dear Govinda?" The old salesman hummed to himself. Looking over his shoulder he quickly looked back down and grabbed a random piece of metal and faced them again and placed it down on the table making a loud 'thud' noise. 

"Here is your Govinda!" The old salesman announced proudly as to make sure that they would not be able to question its originality. The pinked-haired male looked down at the piece of metal with intense eyes before sighing and shaking his head. 

"This... this piece of metal is nothing short but useless. This is not Govinda." Gowther announced as he turned away from the shocked salesman and walked away. "I'll meet you guys over here at the corner, call me when you need me." Gowther told them as he pulled out a black-covered book and sat down on the ground, flipping the pages towards his page. 

"No, wait! I swear-!" Before he could finish his sentence he felt something put their hand over his mouth muffling him. Looking over his shoulder he saw both glowing green and red eyes staring at him with so much intensity that he felt that he was choking. 

"Now... what will we do with you? You did waste our time, old man." Ban stated as he dragged the old salesman over to a chair and got a long piece of rope and tied him up, stuffing a piece of cloth in his mouth. "Spit it out and you will no longer have a mouth, bastard." Ban warned him as he backed away to let the shorter male through. 

"You see, we're in a bit of a pickle right now, and that little stunt that you just pulled was our last straw. We're tired, and I guess you can say that we will kill anyone who dares delay our plans." Meliodas told the now frightened old man as he pulled out his sword. 

"Now, we might spare you if you actually know something about the whereabouts of Govinda." Meliodas suggested as he pulled over a chair and sat on it, his usual smile plastered on his face like a tight mask. 

The male whimpered as he felt big plumps of tears going down his cheeks making his situation even more uncomfortable. 

"He won't even be able to talk if you won't pull out the cloth, you idiot." Ban sneered at the short male as he walked over to the old salesman and pulled the cloth out and touch it lightly, not wishing to have anything like saliva making contact with his skin. 

Trying to control his breathing the old salesman quickly glanced up at the two before looking back down. 'Those eyes... those are not the eyes of a normal being, but that of something evil!' The old salesman thought. Feeling his chin being lifted he eyes came in contact with Meliodas' eyes. 

"So...? Have anything to say that might spare your life?" Meliodas questioned him. The old salesman quickly responded, "Yes, yes I do! There's this woman that lives in the woods close to the river of desire, she was rumored to live in a hut made of the skin of demons. People say that she has a whole lot of weird and mystical stuff there!" The old salesman blabbed, feeling sweat go down his brow and close to his nose. 

Meliodas glanced over at Ban before nodding and getting up from his seat. "Hope you enjoy your permanent stay in hell." Meliodas stated, but before the old salesman could comment his head was already rolling on the floor, a shocked expression permanently on his face. 

Placing back his bloody sword Meliodas faced Gowther as he saw him looking down at the dead man before beginning to analyze the blood-covered ground. "You have made quite the mess, Captain." Gowhther commented as he soon followed out the other two. 

"So what? That old man deserved it for taking away our time." Meliodas answered dismissively as he began to head back towards the tavern. "We're going to go and tell the others?" Ban complained as he slung one arm over the stoic male's shoulder. 

Meliodas nodded his head as he walked up the sets and placed his hand on the doorknob, not even wishing to twist it yet. "We don't know of what this person is capable of, so we have to be prepared." Meliodas answered his question, though not once did he go to stare at the other two. 

"Strange... you're always going headfirst into things, what has changed now?" Gowther questioned the shorter male, his eyes dimly shining due to his curiosity. Melidoas froze as he went to turn the door and slowly pushed it open. 

"Everything, everything for (Y/N)." Meliodas whispered as he finally fully opened the door and stepped in. Everyone else was sitting down on one of the chairs as they all were minding their own business. 

"Everyone, we have some good and bad news." Meliodas stated as he put down his satchel and sat down on one of the chairs and rested his head on its cold surface. The group quickly looked over at Meliodas with hope in their eyes at the mention of good news. 

"Don't forget, we also have bad news." Gowther informed them as if he was reading their minds. "Bad news is that we have yet to find Govinda, but we found something else." Ban stated as he walked over to the kitchen to grab himself some H2O.

"Good news is, though, that we have found a lead as to where the Govinda might be, but we can't be sure." Meliodas continued as he ripped little pieces of the wood from the table. "That person is the only person who might just have Govinda, thus we must go and find her." Gowther finished as he pushed up his glasses causing a bright light to shine on his lenses. 

"Where do we find this woman?" Escanor questioned them, his buff form crowding the whole room. "The woods near this village said to be near the ancient river of desire." Gowther informed him, his golden eyes glazing over. 

"What is this, 'River of Desire'?" Elizabeth questioned them, tilting her head to the side. "Said to show you your deepest desires and once you're fully engulfed in them it will swallow you whole. Must be how this woman is defending her territory." Ban answered her question as he already dawned on the small glass of water before pulling out a big jug of beer. 

"What if we... what if we get eaten?!" Hawks panicked as he went to Elizabeth's side, quivering in fear. Elizabeth laughed, "Don't worry, silly, no water source could ever do that if you have the upper hand." Melidoas smirked, "Not if the water source has already got the upper hand before you could realize it." Meliodas commented. Hawks instantly went to go and get him but got held back by Elizabeth. 

"Come on, everyone, we have a person to catch and rob." Meliodas grunted as he got up from his seat and walked towards the door, the others followed closely behind. "Hey, where's Merlin?" Hawks questioned them, and they instantly tensed up but quickly recovered, but not Elizabeth. 

"Had to take some her time, you know?" Escanor laughed as he picked up the now angry pig and walked along with the others. 

"Yeah... her time." Elizabeth whispered before snapping out of her daze from the screaming of Hawks. "Help me!" Hawks yelled out desperately. Elizabeth finally hurried up as she tried to catch up with Escanor to try and retrieve him. 

Yeah... she just needed a little thinking time.
